Black & White Photography Tips
Black & white photography is about the black, the white, and all the tones in between. The human eye is built to pick up two things: light intensity and color.
- Shoot in Low ISO
- Focus on Contrast (Burning&Dodging using Photoshop)
ChristmasEve@Curve! The people there are just too crazy for me to go any closer as i saw them happily spraying around even on a photographer’s dslr.

What’s “Esther?”
“Esther” – a compelling story about an orphan girl who, despite company policies, office politics and endless protocols, was promoted to a place of influence, to a position with a purpose bigger than she had ever imagined. She swore an oath of duty and honour to the company, but the day came when she had to choose between what was right and what was safe. Starring in-house talents, Victoria Ong, Jack Ling, David Yeow and Pr Andy Yeoh, the production ran twice on 20th December and finally on 25th December.

Just came back from a camp! and got to realize how important it is to stay focus to watch out for laughters and facial expression that you would miss it in the next secs.
As the moment you saw someone laughing out loud and then only you pull out your guns and aim at them, by the time u are done with your aiming, the golden opportunity to capture that natural beautiful laughters is already missed.
It’s totally different from capturing videos, as if you’re holding onto a video cam, as long as your video cam are on REC and you’re pointing at them, at least you h ave a SAFE shots of the happening moments, but if you are taking photos and you did not click the button at the right time = gone case! haha
It’s really a challenge to get those kind of shots. Why?
- When someone tells a joke, instead of laughing with the crowd, you will have to control yourself and spot for the moment!
- You will always tend to forget what you need to do when the joke is just too funny, and there goes all the beautiful shots!
- You must be fast! Target! Focus! Frame! Snaps!
- Not to forget about your the aiming of your Flash!
- Choosing the right position to make sure you have more coverage!
- Of course if there’s a lot more photogs, you might need to fight your way for the best position!
- There’s no more replay on a live event, you miss it, you miss it, move on!
- and SMILE :)

It’s definitely cool to have low angle shots from different places, but it’s a bad idea to have low angle shots on people when your object is at a medium close up (MCU) range, especially girls.
Why so?
Shooting people at MCU range will focus more on their fatty chins, or even if they are not, notice that the portion of neck is shown more than usual, in result, your model looks definitely much fatter.
Note:
If you notice, most girls loves to have their picture done with high angle shots.
A natural pose response you will get from females when you have your cam pointing at them
Face went 45Degree to the left/right
Face tilt down a little bit
Eyes went real big and stare at you (that’s a symbol of an OK for a snap!)
Why do they do that? simple enough, it makes them thinner! beautiful! and woohoo!
Avoid being scold by the ladies, saves a photog/videog’s day, and get yourself a few thumbs up!
